Our goats are South African Boer meat goats. Originally from South Africa and imported to the United States in the early 1990's. We have raised many different kind of animals but none more enjoyable than our goats. We started in Jan 2005 with a visit to Denny and Kim Hamm's farm and fell in love with them instantly (yes the goats too). We have been adding better and better breeding stock every year all coming from Poplar Hill Farm (Denny Hamm), Hill Place Farm (Don and Deb Borden), CJ Hill Farm (Jim and Connie Bailey), and a daughter from Enobolded Pipeline from Downen's retirement sale. Our genetics consistist of pipeline, Bodacious OJO, Gauge, Eggsfile, Bingo, David's Hurricane, Tatonka all of which are 2nd or third generation. We have put alot of  focus on buying correct animals that we do show quite a bit and have good confirmation. If you are looking to get in the goat business, our animals would be a good foundation to start with.  We run  full-blood Boer bucks with fullblood or percentage does and get top quality kids, for breeding stock or for the meat production.

Boer goats are a very productive meat goats with great rearing ability. These goats regularly have twins, and occasionally triplets with rich milk in order to raise all three.  It is not uncommon to acheive a 200% plus kid crop ready for market every eight months.  This is great return on your investment to say the least.  Also, these goats are excellent for brush control. If you have pasture that is overgrown or inaccessible to other livestock and isn't doing much for your current situation (cattle, sheep, etc.), then it's time to introduce some goats to those areas.  Goats are natural wanderers, and anything they wander upon, they usually eat.  They thrive on unconventional forage that sheep and cattle pass up.  Goats are a great alternative livestock with a strong market that continues to grow with great demand.  Don't miss out on the opportunity to secure your quality herd, call us and we'll help get you started.
